Eco-tourism in Sundarban

It is a watch tower and there is a mangrove interpretation center. Here you will find out how many species of mangrove trees are available in the Sundarbans. Besides, you can also get acquainted with animals, birds, crocodiles, snakes etc.. There is a watch tower. From here it is seen far into the jungle.

Sudhanyakhali Watch tower

Sudhanakali Watch Tower is very popular, because in the last days Tigers have been seen many times from here. It is also the most beautiful Watch Tower and there are mangrove nurseries. We can collect a lot of information about the trees of the Sundarbans from these mangrove nurseries. This mangrove nursery is very important for the botany’s students.

Dobanki Jungle Camp:

It is known because there is a long canopy which has gone far beyond the jungle. It is 496 meters long canopy walk. Besides, there are deer conservation centers where many deer from the jungle are retired. There is a watch tower in Dobanki and there is wide view of jungle from here.

Islands and River crossing

During our Sundarban tour packages we see there are many small islands on the way from one place  to another place . While passing some of the Islands by boat, we see many animal birds, crocodiles, etc. that move in the open jungle.

We see many rivers and various branches during our Sundarban tour. Panchamukuni is the confluence of five such rivers. It seems as if we are crossing the sea. There is no other side visible while cross the river.

Day 1: In the morning, going to the bus or car from Kolkata to Sundarban, visit the bird’s land at noon and reached the Sunderban in the afternoon.

Day 02: Early in the morning, to see the watch tower board at the boat. All meals will be served on the boat.  Sajnekhali, Suryanakhali, Doabanki, Panchmukini, Pirkhali, Gazikhali, Deulvarani, Sarakktali etc. will be seen. During the evening, back to the hotel  and stay at night.

Day 03: Take a morning breakfast and see nearby villages. Then again, return to Calcutta.
