Lake Naivasha

Freshwater Lake Naivasha is located outside the town of Naivasha in Nakuru County, which is located northwest of Nairobi. The lake is a birder’s delight, with almost 400 distinct bird species.

Amboseli National Park

Southern Kenya is home to Amboseli National Park. It is well-known for its vast elephant populations and views of Tanzania’s enormous Mount Kilimanjaro. Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro & Lake Mayara.

Day 1: Arusha –Tarangire National Park

Your safari guide will pick you up from the resort after breakfast at 7 am and transport you to Tarangire National Park.

The nearly 3000 sq km Tarangire National Park is well recognised for its enormous concentration of elephants and baobab trees. The Tarangire River, which runs through the park, gave it its name. Since Tarangire’s wildlife concentrations equal those of the Serengeti during the dry season (March–April), it is exceptionally breathtaking during that time (since enormous populations of elephants and other animals are drawn to the Tarangire River as their only source of water). Over 2000 elephants and 500 different bird species call the park home thanks to its diverse ecosystems and the Tarangire River’s perennial water supply. Day 2: Serengeti National Park   

Early in the morning, head for Serengeti National Park with a picnic lunch after taking a break at your resort in the Manyara Highlands.

The Serengeti National Park is home to an estimated three million large animals, the majority of which participate in a seasonal migration, one of nature’s wonders, making it the last great wildlife sanctuary in the world. Serengeti, which means unending plains in Maasai, is derived from the area’s 14,763 square kilometres.

Day 3: Full-day Serengeti National Park

Due to a large number of resident species, the Central Serengeti provides excellent year-round wildlife viewing. No matter what month you go on safari, you must visit the Seronera River Valley in Central Serengeti. The dry season (March–November) is the most incredible time to go game viewing in Central Serengeti since local animals are more concentrated nearby owing to the lack of water on the plains. You can view a wide range of herbivores such as impala, buffalo, hippo, warthog, topi, hartebeest, and giraffes, as well as carnivores such as lions and leopards.

Day 4: Serengeti –Ngorongoro conservation area

The 1.5 million wildebeests that make a continuous migration in search of greener pastures are the subject of the biggest wildlife extravaganza in the world, which takes place on the Serengeti’s boundless plains. Every year, this enormous herd of wildebeest travels in a clockwise direction around the Serengeti, up to the Masai Mara in Kenya, and then returns to the Serengeti to give birth to its young (over 8000 wildebeest are born a day between mid-Feb and mid-March).

They travel about 2,500 miles annually and are constantly in danger from some of Africa’s most dangerous predators. Your driver guide will be able to tell you where the herd is right now based on the time of your visit.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater

The Ngorongoro crater, the world’s most prominent intact crater, is frequently referred to as the eighth natural wonder of the world. The Ngorongoro volcano erupted over 2 million years ago, and its walls fell in. With its 600m towering walls, the volcano’s floor sunk to form a natural enclosure. Ngorongoro Crater is now more than 19 kilometres wide and is home to vast tracts of acacia forest, hippo-infested marshes, and open grasslands. More than 30,000 creatures, including elephants, warthogs, flamingos, spectacular birdlife, the endangered black rhinoceros, and all predatory cats, can be found in these many environments. Along with the buffalo and wildebeest, the Maasai can also be observed grazing cattle.

Day 6: Lake Manyara- Back Arusha/ Airport drop off.  

Return to Lake Manyara, located at the base of the picturesque Manyara escarpments and surrounds the park’s namesake lake, and spend 6 to 7 hours there. This park is home to acacia woodland, a vast variety of animals, and—despite being infrequently seen—lions that can climb trees.

A wide variety of birds can be spotted easily around the lake and on the rocks.

5 Days Masai Mara wildebeest migration & Big 5 experience

The five-day Masai Mara Wildebeest Migration Experience Safari begins in Nairobi and concludes there as well. It involves travelling to Kenya’s most famous national park (Masai Mara national reserve). The reserve covers roughly 1,510 square km of land. The reserve depicts a true African wilderness with vast grassy plains, rolling hills, and scattered trees—often the acacia tree species. The great wildebeest migration, which involves millions of wildebeest and zebras migrating from Tanzania’s Serengeti national park to Masai mara across the mara river, may be one of the most popular wildlife movements in the world. The movement’s motivation is said to be the seeking of new grassland to set large herds free.

Day 1:  Transfer from airport to hotel in Nairobi.

Day 2: Nairobi to the Masai Mara National Reserve 

Awaken to a day full of fantastic opportunities and marvellous adventures. Get picked up from the hotel by your guide, then drive to the Masai Mara. It will take you around 5 hours to complete the drive. The safari will reward you with stunning views of the verdant countryside. Arrive at the park and perhaps have lunch and a quick nap.

Set out on a sundowner game drive in the Masai Mara reserve in search of wild animals, paying particular attention to the “big 5” — lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, and buffaloes. In addition to other animal and bird species, there are also cheetahs, giraffes, warthogs, zebras, and wildebeests. Enjoy the incredible game drive before returning to the resort for supper and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Masai mara, game drive and Mara River.

Your safari trip isn’t ended yet; get up in the morning to eat breakfast in the wild before leaving the lodge and heading to the Mara River for lunch. As you travel to the river in a game drive, expect to witness herds of zebras and wildebeest crossing the Mara River as you approach it. It’s beautiful to watch the wildebeests take a leap of faith to bridge the Nil River, which is heavily populated by mighty crocodiles who are always ready to make quick work of the passing animals. Leave the river and return to your accommodation in time for dinner and the night.

Day  4: Masai mara national reserve trailing the wildebeest

Get to cap off your five-day wildebeest migration trip with a tonne of activities and a tour of the Masai Mara. On a game drive, you can look for the big 5 while pursuing the migrating herds of wildebeests. Explore the park via hot air balloon (extra charges applicable), a peculiar method that costs an additional 450 dollars. As you go on a game drive, keep in mind that the park is home to over 450 different species of wildlife, so the experience is excellent because you may see these animals up close.

Expect to see a variety of antelope species, warthogs, hippos, crocodiles, ostriches, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, leopards, elephants, lions, cheetahs, rhinos, zebras, giraffes, several species of antelope, etc. The annual migration of wildlife from the Serengeti to Masai Mara at the Mara River crossing is known as the wildebeest trail. Your game drive will follow the migrating wildebeests along their various pathways. You will return to your lodge for dinner, and an overnight stay as the sun sets.

Day 5:  Masai mara – Nairobi.

Get up early, eat breakfast, and then depart the lodge as you say goodbye to the Mara wilderness. After making quick pauses at the rift valley to take in the breathtaking vistas, continue to Nairobi, Kenya’s busy metropolis. Continue to the capital, where you will arrive in the afternoon. After lunch, you will be dropped off where you choose.

5 Days Lake Nakuru and Masai mara reserve safari

The 5-day Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara safari brings you to Kenya’s birding haven Nakuru, then to the rift valley in the Masai Mara reserve, which is home to various species of birds and animals, including the Big 5. The Masai also serve as a stopping point for the wildebeest migration, the most well-known yearly wildlife exodus worldwide.

Day 1: Nairobi to Lake Nakuru national park

After breakfast, leave Nairobi for Lake Nakuru, widely known as the “pink lake” due to the large number of flamingos that inhabit it. You will be in awe at the splendour of the countryside as you go through it.

More than 400 different bird species can be seen in Lake Nakuru, with flamingos being the most well-known. In addition, the lake includes soda on the rift valley floor, and flamingos are there, providing a pleasant sight from a distance as you approach the water. Lake Nakuru has gained prominence due to the Rothschild giraffe, black and white rhino, lions, buffaloes, baboons, and other creatures you may see there. After the visit, spend the night at your lodge and have dinner there.

Day 2:  Lake Nakuru to Masai mara national park.

Have breakfast before travelling to the Masai Mara Reserve along the rift valley’s picturesque road in the morning. Arrive in the afternoon, have lunch, take a quick break, and then depart for a game drive in the evening. Expect to see lions, wildebeests, elephants, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, warthogs, water bucks, oribis, hartebeests, and a variety of other animals during the game drive.

Drive back to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay after finishing the game drive.

Day 3 and   4: Masai mara reserve.

Get up in the morning and have breakfast while keeping in mind that you will spend the next two days looking for wildlife, particularly the big five, in the Masai. Given that the Masai reserve is teeming with diverse animals, there is a high chance that one will see what they had been hoping to see. You have the option of paying an additional 450USD for a hot air balloon ride while you are on reserve. You can spot wildlife while seeing the area from above while in the hot air balloon.

About 450 kinds of fauna have been recorded in the Masai Mara. One can easily find lions, hippos, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes, warthogs, wildebeests, oribis, elephants, rhinoceroses, jackals, hyenas, wild dogs, antelopes, crocodiles, hartebeest, oribis, and other animals in the wilderness. Day 1: The first day starts with pickup in Nairobi and travels through the Great Rift Valley to the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Arrive in the park just in time for lunch after stopping along the road to take in the scenery from a great vantage. Set off later on a thrilling nighttime game drive across the lush, tree-lined plains and undulating slopes. Day 4: Start the day with a filling breakfast early in the morning and join us for a visit to Nakuru Park, which is home to over 350 different bird species, including vibrant flamingos. The park, which was created to protect endangered species like these, is also home to black and white rhinoceroses. Relax and reflect on the return trip to your Nairobi hotel or airport after a memorable four days.

3 Days Masai Mara Safari

The 3 days Masai Mara Safaris provide a quick but worthwhile visit to Masai Mara, which involves exploring one of the best national game reserves in the world, engaging in various activities and socialising with the local Masai tribes to learn about their customs. If time permits, you might even take a hot air balloon flight to see the Masai Mara from above, catching some of the most magnificent panoramas while looking down at animals scurrying over the savanna.

Day 1: Transfer to Masai mara national park and embark evening game drive in the park.

Be picked up from your hotel or airport early in the morning, and then be driven through Kenya’s lush countryside to the Masai Mara. The trip takes about four to five hours. You will travel to the Masai Mara National Reserve, where you will spend the following two nights.

As you continue climbing westward toward the western rift valley, you’ll notice a change in the landscape marked by canopies of various tree species. Reach the Maai Mahiu town of Hot Springs by going deeper. Proceed to Narok County to pick up a few drinks, then go to the Masai Mara Reserve. Upon arrival, check into your lodge for lunch and a short period of relaxation.

Around 3:45 p.m., leave your lodge for a beautiful twilight game drive across the countryside. On the game drive, expect to see wildebeest, giraffes, elephants, rhinos, lions, and many other animals.

After your game drive, return to your lodge for dinner and the night.

Day 2: Full-day Game Drive.

Get ready for an active day of discovery. Eat breakfast, and leave the resort by 8:00 for a thorough game drive. You will have the chance to see animals that you most likely missed the previous days, such as cheetahs, leopards, and buffaloes, as well as lions, elephants, zebras, wildebeests, topis, elands, Thomson gazelles, jackals, hyenas, mara river hippos and crocodiles, warthogs, and various bird species.

As the wildebeests prepare for their migration, you will also travel down to the Mara River; if you’re lucky, you might even observe the wildebeests’ migration.

Take a picnic lunch break beneath the tree shelters. As you make your way back to the resort, you’ll likely witness more wildlife since the Masai Mara is a wildlife-rich area. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 3: Transfer to Nairobi and the airport.
