Bangladesh has 3 international airports, 6 domestic airports and 6 STOL (Short Take-off and Landing) ports, with 1 new domestic airport under construction.All airports are operated and maintained by the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh under the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism.
By –Train :
The Maitree Express is the only train which runs between Kolkata and Dhaka. It runs six days a week from each side. The train travels around 375 kilometers to reach Dhaka from Kolkata. There are two stops for immigration checking; one is Gede (Indian side) and the other is Dorshona (Bangladesh side).
By Road :
You can drive into Bangladesh from India from two points on the border – Benapol (from Calcutta) and Chilihati (from Darjeeling). These are the only two entry points on the India-Bangladesh border open at the moment.
The word "Khum" in Marma language means "Waterfall". A special type of flying fish, whose local name is nating, is found at the bottom in a small cave as they swim against the stream but cannot jump over the height of the fall.
