Bangladesh has 3 international airports, 6 domestic airports plus 6 STOL (Short Take-off with Landing) ports, with 1 new domestic airport underneath constructional airports are operated and maintain by the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh under the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism.
By Train :The Maitree Express is the single train which runs connecting Kolkata and Dhaka. It runs six days a week from both sides. The train schedule around 375 kilometers to arrive at Dhaka from Kolkata. There are two stops for immigration scrutiny check, one is Gede (Indian side) and the other is Dorshona (Bangladesh side).
By Road :
You will be able to drive into Bangladesh from India from two points on the border like Benapol (from Calcutta) and Chilihati (from Darjeeling). These are the only two entrance points on the India-Bangladesh border open at the moment.

Lalbagh Fort is an unfinished 17th century Mughal fortress in Dhaka, Bangladesh. This fort (also known as Fort Aurangabad) stands conceitedly before the River Buriganga in the southwestern part of Dhaka, Bangladesh. The construction was in progress in 1678 AD by Mughal Subahdar Muhammad Azam Shah. For long the fort was considered to be a combination of three buildings (the mosque, the tomb of Bibi Pari and the Diwan-i-Aam), with two gateways and a portion of the partly damaged fortification wall. Recent excavations approved out by the Department of Archaeology have discovered the continuation of other structure.
Ahsan Manzil is a fantastic antique building, located on the bank of the Buriganga river , in old Dhaka at Kumartoli, Islampur area. It was residential palace for Dhaka Nawab Family. The formation of this palace was started in the year 1859 and was finished in 1869. It is constructed in the Indo-Saracenic Revival planning. To protect the cultural as well as history of the area, the palace became the Bangladesh National Museum on 20 September 1992.
The Shaheed Minar is the famous national monument in Dhaka, Bangladesh, established to memorialize those killed during the Bengali Language Movement demonstrations of 1952. On 21 February 1952, dozens of students and political activists were killed after the Pakistani police power opened fire on Bengali protesters who were challenging equal status for their native language, Bengali. The mass destruction occurred near Dhaka Medical College and Ramna Park in Dhaka. A makeshift monument was erected on 23 February by students of University of Dhaka and other educational institution, but demolished on 26 February by the powerful Pakistani police forces.
Jatiyo Sriti Shoudho or National Martyrs' Memorial is that the memorial of Bangladesh is that the image within the memory of the bravery and therefore the sacrifice of all those that gave their lives within the Bangladesh Liberation War of 1971.
